There are plenty of ski schools and ski instructors in Zakopane. At the bottom of each ski lift you will find a ski school or at least one or two instructors ready to sell to you the secrets of the snow plow turn:-). The biggest ski schools in Zakopane are located at the ski centres Nosal, Szymoszkowa and Harenda. If you are going to visit Zakopane during the high season (Christmas, New Year, school holidays) it is worth to book an instructor in advance or visit the ski school on your arrival day and book ski lessons for the next days.

Dear Barbara, I just wanted to write a quick thank you, for your patience last week in helping us out on the slopes of beautiful Zakopane. We both appreciate your help, advice and good humour. You will be pleased to hear that Sarah managed more than 5 whole descents of the slope on Nosal without stopping after you left, and i may have even managed to get down once with both my skiis firmly on the slope! Unimaginable, i know! Thank you again for your recommendation for the stunning little restaurant by the roundabout on the way back to our hotel, it had a wonderfully warm fire, excellent beer and wonderful food as well. We shared a table with some local people, and had a wonderful time. Many thanks, we will look forward to seeing you next time and in the meantime will recommend your services to all our friends and family.
