Our taxi or minibus picks you up from your hotel and drive you directly to the ski slope in Zakopane (2,5 hour), where your instructor is waiting for you. After you rent skis, boots and poles (eventually ski jacket and pants) you are ready for the adventure. During three hours of basic ski course you will learn how to stop, turn and use a tow lift. After the lesson is finished you can decide if you preffer to stay on the ski slope to practise your new skills or you rather go to the center to discover Zakopane. Minibus can pick you up from the place and at the time which suits you best and will take you directly to your hotel in Krakow.
Cheaper option: you can take a public bus to get from Krakow to Zakopane and we can pick you up from the bus station.
Barbara, thank you very much for your patience and guidance in helping to organise the wonderful day trip from Krakow to Zakopane on Friday last. Thanks to Martin our driver who was very nice and punctual and showed us around various parts of Zakopane. We are just back home in Ireland after our short break and everyone thought the trip to Zakopane was the highlight of our trip - everything was perfect from the sleigh ride in snow in the Tatra national Park and lovely coffee and apple pie in the local restaurant after, to the cable car ride up Kasprowy Wierch and a walk, food and lovely sunset on Gubalowka Hill. We bought lots of souveniers on Krupowki street and I would recommend it to anyone - wish we had more time in Zakopane - the town looks magical under the gentle fall of snow - hope to go back again sometime and stay overnight.
